Trail Running

Needless to say, these 2km+ were though for my skills. When I reached the summit I really needed a break and a fresh lemonade 😅.

But it was totally worth the effort. Going down was also a pleasant run, almost alone in the middle of the mountains and I spotted 9 marmots 😺.


This trail itinerary is the FHGR Trail Run - T33 [1] provided by the canton Graubünden. There is a shorter version FHGR Trail Run - T26 [2] that spares 7km.

  • Lantsch/Lenz, Biathlon Arena (1387m)
  • Bergrestaurant Scharmoin (7.9km, 1902m)
  • Hörnli Berg - Hörnlihütte Arosa (14.2km, 2493m)
  • Äplisee (16.8km, 2176m)
  • Panoramarestaurant Rothorngipfel (22km, 2856m)
  • Alp Sanaspan (26.6km, 2000m)
  • Lantsch/Lenz, Biathlon Arena (1387m)

For the start, I recommend the Gpx coordinates. Until reaching Scharmoin, the path isn't that clear but afterwards it is quite easy to follow with yellow and white/red/white signs.
