My second time at Parpaner Rothorn, I took a different route, choosing the shorter FHGR Trail Run, which saves 7 km and 400 meters of ascent.
The route should have been 26 km, but for some reason, I lost the path quite often. You might want to download the official GPX data for a cleaner path.
The trail was a bit more crowded than two years ago, and unlike my previous visit, I didn’t see any marmots on the way down. The weather was super windy, just like the first time, so I guess this spot is particularly prone to wind.
